A few weeks ago I was back in Boston for Red Hat Summit 2025. You can watch the keynote for day 1 and the keynote for day 2 on YouTube. This was probably one of the best Summit events that I’ve been to and the energy was absolutely electric. There were a ton of product announcements and updates and you can read all about them.
Security outside of post-quantum cryptography wasn’t front and center and AI was again dominant, but there were some opportunities to talk about security. I spoke about AI security with the Ask Noah podcast (I’ll post the link when it’s published), and also talked about AI security, post-quantum crypto and the EU Cyber Resilience Act on theCube.
I also had the privilege of being part of the Community Day keynote, which is available on Red Hat TV. The keynote was focused on open source communities, Red Hat’s rich history in open source, security, and (of course) AI — particularly in the context of open source. To watch the keynote in full requires a login (which is free to obtain) and also allows you to check out a number of other great talks.
