This week’s TechMail is Monitor your server with Monitorix which discusses the Monitorix web package that provides a nice almost-real-time monitoring interface for your system that is accessible via the web.

On a side note, why is it that almost everytime I write these tips, some boob always asks “is there something free and equivalent on the Windows side?”. Sheesh. Yeah, it’s called Linux and then you can use the exact same software — and it’s still free.

I mean come on.. these are Linux tips. Sorry if you get OSS-envy from them, but maybe you need to pony up and either use Linux or figure out Cygwin.
