This week’s TechMail is Using dnsmasq for DNS and DHCP services, which discusses using dnsmasq in place of software like BIND and ISC’s dhcpd (or other similar packages). I had actually never heard of dnsmasq before poking around looking for something interesting to write about, and it’s pretty neat. I don’t think I’ll make the change in my own network, but it could be useful for other projects.
