Last week’s techmail was Using BitlBee to consolidate instant messaging into one client which talks about the really neat BitlBee program which brings your instant messaging to IRC. It’s got a few rough edges, but it’s really quite neat and worth checking out if you’re tired of using multiple apps to handle multiple IM communications, particularly if you also use IRC.
